The members of the Edison Engineering Team have a common interest and goal: enhancing our learning experience through science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. We have come together to take on the challenge set forth by "Bet the Farm” by building an advance technological robotic farmer which will be able to plant corn seeds; harvest and deliver ripe corn, tomatoes, and lettuce; corral, secure and feed pigs; and irrigate the farmland. Our special robotic design utilizes a special claw which can easily accomplish this task. The team has worked long hours designing and fabricating the different components of the robot. What started out as pieces of plywood, wires, nuts and bolts, PVC pipes, and motors have now been transformed into a robotic farmer which will technologically modernize BLT Farms.
